Every year, a portion of proceeds from Hixon Mortgage Bend Summer Festival is donated to a local nonprofit. MountainStar Family Relief Nursery is this year’s beneficiary!

MountainStar Family Relief Nursery (MountainStar) walks alongside children and families during some of life’s most stressful moments, providing therapeutic early childhood programs, home visiting, and essential family supports. By reducing stress and building stability early, MountainStar prevent child abuse and neglect and creates safer, stronger communities across Central Oregon.
When this support is in place, it has far reaching impacts — both now and in the future.
Children grow up in safe, nurturing environments where healing and healthy development can begin early. Parents gain the tools, confidence, and support they need to build stable, loving homes. This early intervention breaks multi-generational cycles of trauma, strengthening families today while creating healthier, more resilient communities for generations to come.
Support MountainStar Family Relief Nursery
Lay It Out Events produces more than 20 festivals, races and contract events each year. For each ticketed event and race, LIOE donates a portion of proceeds to local nonprofit organizations. Through our beneficiaries, we raise awareness and much-needed funds for vital nonprofit groups across the Northwest. In the past 10 years, LIOE has donated over $300,000 to local charities and nonprofits.
